The 1980s was a transformative decade for UK children. With the rise of home computers like the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and BBC Micro, many British kids got their first taste of video gaming. Iconic games like "Manic Miner" and "Elite" introduced a new form of interactive entertainment.

Toys too evolved with Transformers and LEGO sets becoming the rage. For many, the act of transforming Optimus Prime or building a LEGO castle was a cherished memory from their youth.
